The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts is celebrating their one year anniversary this year and to celebrate they hosted an open house free to the public. It’s a beautiful building located in downtown San Antonio.
One interesting fact about the floor of the H.E.B. Performance Hall is that it flips. According to one of the tour guides, one side of the floor is flat and the other side is complete with rows and rows of seats. This specific floor type is one of only three in the world.
The Tobin Center has a great lineup of performances this year. Some you might already be familiar with include Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and concerts by the San Antonio Symphony. The Price is Right, Meat Loaf, Last Comic Standing, and America’s Got Talent are other shows happening this Fall.
